Eugenio Pirri has been promoted to Regional Director of Human Resources for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, based at the Savoy in London. He was most recently the Director of Human Resources at the Fairmont Seattle (named the top hotel in the Fairmont chain in 2006). Eugenio was previously the Director of People Resources at Victoria’s Delta Ocean Pointe Resort & Spa.
Kathryn Lee has been named Director of Human Resources at the Fairmont Santa Monica in California. Kathryn was most recently People Resources Manager at Vancouver’s Delta Suites.
Jack Harding has been named Regional Director of Engineering for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts based at the Savoy.
David Bosch has been promoted to Chief Engineer at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Before joining Fairmont, David was with Canada’s Delta Hotels & Resorts in Edmonton, Vancouver and Richmond.
Dan McGowan has been named GM of the Fairmont Vancouver Airport after serving as hotel manager at the Hotel Vancouver. David Currell returns to Vancouver as GM of the Kor Hotel Group’s Loden Vancouver.
Smith Munro assumes the GM position at Vancouver’s Renaissance Hotel Harbourside. Smith will oversee a multi-million dollar renovation of the property.
Angela Rafuse-Tahir assumed the position of Director of Sales at the Fairmont Algonquin, St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick.
