Olympic Sized Prices for 2010
Chris · October 11, 2007
Today I found a post from the Halifax-based blog ”Ultimate Hat Trick” by Ashley, who wrote a fun overview of ticket prices for the upcoming Vancouver/Whistler Winter Olympic Games.
VANOC announced that event tickets will be made available in exactly one year from today.
Here’s a snippet from Ashley’s post:
“You might also want to work on finding a new friend in the Greater Vancouver area, because something tells me that it will be hard to find a hotel room, or even a vacant cot in the lobby of a shady motel.”
That could be an accurate assessment of what visitors can expect during the games...we’ll have to wait and see in the months leading up to the Games, and the years following.
You can click here to read the rest of Ashley’s article. Turns out that men’s hockey is by far the most expensive sporting event at the Games.
