Hyatt Regency Hosts Vancouver’s Largest Gingerbread House
Chris · November 26, 2007
Today I received the Holy Grail of all press releases.
Yes, the information I received was both timely and relevant for our readers, but what made this release special for me was that it was both hand-delivered, and packaged with food! You just can’t beat a fun seasonal story idea that comes with a little sweet incentive to post it.
Hyatt Regency Vancouver Launches their 2007 Gingerbread Lane
For the last four years, the lobby of Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency has been transformed into a winter wonderland called Gingerbread Lane. A central feature of the popular display has always been the World’s Largest Gingerbread Man.
This year the Gingerbread Man has resigned his position and will be replaced instead with Vancouver’s Largest Gingerbread House. This mammoth house is the Hyatt Gingerbread Lane’s latest attraction, along with a four foot tall gingerbread man cut-out where visitors and guests can place their faces for festive photographs.
Kicking off on Tuesday, November 27th from 4:30 to 7:00pm, winter wonderland will once again take place in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver at Burrard and Georgia. Visitors can check out more than 24 crafted gingerbread houses from professional chefs and high-school students throughout the Lower Mainland.
Gingerbread Lane runs from November 27 to December 26, and admission is by donation in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of B.C. and Yukon.
