Featuring Hotel Murder, at the Universe

Daniel Craig, Opus Hotels Vice President and author of a new mystery called ”Murder at the Universe” hosted a book launch soirée yesterday at Vancouver’s Opus Hotel.
The hotel’s lounge was packed with Opus VIP’s and invitees sipping champagne cocktails and martinis while Daniel Craig furiously signed books for the crowd. I got my copy too....and look forward to cracking it open this weekend.
Although Daniel insists the story is pure fiction, no doubt inspiration was garnered from years working in Vancouver’s hotel scene at hotels such as the Pan Pacific and the Metropolitan Vancouver (and a short stint at a resort in Palau).
Daniel’s first hotel gig was at Toronto’s Delta Chelsea (now the largest hotel in Canada), and he then moved on to the Westin Harbour Castle and the Sutton Place Hotel before moving to to the West Coast.
