No matter what technological, design or service delivery innovations are on the horizon in the hospitality industry - at the end of the day no hotel property can operate without a team of inspired service professionals. It’s the team, not the technology that focuses on the myriad details that make up the guest experience.
This video produced by an Indonesian manpower resource supply company called Binamandiri features a glimpse into a day-in-the-life of a hotel industry employee. Even though this was filmed at a resort in Indonesia, the theme holds true for just about any hotel operation. Well, hopefully not the part where the housekeeping room attendant uses guestroom towels to clean the bathroom(?), but you’ll get the idea!
